It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God's will that we announce the passing on of Samuel Mirie Gachathi.
He was the son of the late Peter Joseph Gachathi and the late Beatrice Wanjiku Gachathi. Brother to Winifred Nyambura Karugu, the late John Kimani Gachathi, the late Rosemary Wambui Gachathi, Rachel Waithira & Rev. Ngari Kariithi. Special uncle to Anne Wahura Mubia & Tom Murungi, Diana Wanjiku Kimani, Beatrice Wanjiku Mubia, Kethi Wangeci & Elijah Mungai, Wanjiku Ngari, Kariithi Ngari and Dennis Wambugu (USA). Grandfather to Jaiden Gitonga Murungi & Njunge Mungai. He was the much loved uncle, cousin, grandfather and friend to many.
Family and friends will meet for prayers at his home in Lavington on Tuesday, 6th July 2021 at 5 pm.
The funeral service will take place on Thursday, 8th July 2021 at Karura Community Chapel at 11 am followed by burial at Kimuga, Kiambaa.
