Professor William Kimani Munyua

In acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing on of Professor William Kimani Munyua, formerly of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Nairobi, on 6th July, 2021, at the Nairobi Hospital.
Son of the late Arthur Munyua Mukuru and the late Karen Njambi Munyua.
Loving husband of Margaret Nyaguthii Munyua and loving father of Jane Njambi, Irene & Terence Kihato, Luiza Mbura and Allan & Agnes Munyua. Doting grandfather of Moria, Joanne, Kimani, Nyaguthii, Gabriella and Mwarari.
Son-in-law of the late Zacharia Kabure Muya and the late Tabitha Wangechi Kabure.
Brother of Priscilla Mbura Kamau [Kawaida], the late Elizabeth Njeri Thiongo, the late John Mwaura, Francis Njai [Ongata Rongai] and Frederick Mbugua [Njoro]. Brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, friend and a colleague to many.
The cortège shall depart from Lee Funeral Home at 9.30am, on Wednesday, 14th July, 2021. The funeral service shall be held at the grounds of ACK St. Paul’s Church Njoro (near Ruaka), at 11.00am and thereafter the burial shall be at the family home close by.
