It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. Patrick Njogu Kariuki on Tuesday 17th August, 2021, due to Covid-19 related complications bravely borne.
Beloved Husband of the late Mrs. Irene Wanjiru Kariuki. Father of Lucian Kariuki, Joyce Nyambugi, Nicholas Kariuki, Nyambura Kariuki, Charles Ngugi, Alice Wanjiku and Joseph Kimani. Father-in-law of Stella Gacharia and Cyril Mukhunji. Loving Grandfather of Brian Njogu, Anaiah, Bianca, Mwenda, Ivy, Adia, Nia, Rina.
Beloved Son of the late Councilor Josephat Kariuki Njogu and the late Hannah Wambui Kariuki. Son-in-law of the late Ephantus Ngugi Muchugi and Joyce Nyambugi Ngugi. Brother of the late Nyambura Karwigi, Kimani Kariuki, the late Dr. Peter Kariuki, Liz Gitau and the late Hipperk Kinyua.
Brother-in-Law of Jimmy Gitau, Susan Kimani, Rachael Mbaya, the late Charles Muchugi, Nelly Njenga, Wambui Njogu, Hon. Justice Mumbi Ngugi, Moses Kamau, the late George Wanaina, Mbaire Gitonga, Allan Njung’e, Robert Kibi, the late Dr. John Mbaya, the late Joseph Gakio, the late John Njogu, Gitonga Kihara, Winnie Wainaina, Martha Kibi and Mercy Wambui.
Family and Friends will be meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at the family residence on Thursday 19th, Friday 20th and Monday 23rd August from 4.00pm to 7.00pm in strict observance of the Ministry of Health Covid-19 protocols. The funeral will take place on Tuesday 24th August, 2021, at the family farm in Githioro, Kinangop. Further details to be provided at a later date.
