The family of Kristina and George Odwesso (both deceased)of South West Alego Gangu regret to announce the passing to glory of Caren Apiyo Odwesso who transitioned to be with the Lord on 28th July 2021 in Texas, USA.
Caren was mother of Mike Mondi Amkaya (USA), and foster daughter of Gladys Ogutu of Ligega- Ugenya.
Sister of Margaret Odongo (Uganda), the late Patricia Ogombe, Appolonia Olemo, the Odwessos - Chris, Florence, Peter, late David Ochieng, Paul and twin sister of Lucas Obiya Odwesso of KRA, sister in law of the late Samuel Odongo (Uganda), Solomon Ayimba, the late Amos Olemo, Lucy, Donna, Wangare, Beth and Janet.
Caren was an auntie to many.
She was cousin and niece of the Magungas, the Oduhulas, and the larger Ogombe family.
Her body arrives in Nairobi on 11th August 2021. Viewing will be done at the Lee Funeral Home on 12th August 2021 between 2 - 3 pm.
The body leaves Lee Funeral Home on 13th August 2021 at 7 am. Burial will take place on 14th August 2021 at her parents home in Alego Gangu Nyalaji Siaya County.
