It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Philomena Wairimu Karanja of Ngenya, Nyanduma location, Kiambu County.
Wife to the late Peter Karanja Njuguna, mother to the late David Njuguna, Patrick Ndungu (Cytton Investments) Stephen Wanyoike (Kiambu County) Jane Wanjiku, Alice Waringa (COTTR), Margaret Wambui (Thika Technical) Grace Waithira (NIRAS Africa), Charles Njuguna (Delmonte), John Mburu, Eunice Nyambura, Joseph Nganga (Joe Nganga Advocates) and Benard Nganga.
Sister to the late Njuguna Mutungu, Waithira Kamau, Wangui Maina, Serah Wambui and Nyoro Mutung’u.
Mother In law to Esther Wanjiru Njuguna, Mary Wangari Ndung’u, Hellen Njeri Wanyoike, Judy Kanana Njuguna, Margret Njoki Mburu, Catherine Wanjiru Ng’ang’a, Dickson Michatha Mwangi and George Kihiu Kamanja.
A dotting grandmother and a great grandmother to many
Meetings are ongoing daily at her Ngenya home in Nyanduma Location of Kiambu County from 4pm -7pm and at sharks Palace Kiambu road from 6pm-8pm.
The cortège will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home on 12th August 2021 at 8am for mass at St. Theresa Catholic Church Ngenya and later burial at her home in Ngenya near the church.
