It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Esther Wanjiku Wachira, Pastor with Glorious Restoration Christian Church in Ruiru following a short illness, bravely borne.
The beloved wife of Pastor Nicholas Wacira Kariithi. Mother to Kethi Wangeci Wachira, Wairimu and Paul Obara, Njoki and Roy Michoma, and Njeri Wachira. Grandmother to Akinyi, Wanjiku, Gakina, Makena, and Getuno.
Daughter of John Karoba Iroha and the late Mary Wairimu Karoba. A daughter-in-law to the late Hon. Geoffrey Kariithi and the late Mary Wangeci Kariithi.
Sister to James Kiarie, Humphrey Mwangi, Perpetua Njeri, Peter Mburu, Stephen Kamau, Joseph Gachonjo, and Anne Wariara. Sister-in-law to George Karekia, Margaret Njoki, the late Jane Muthoni, Elizabeth Wambere, Ngari Kariithi, and Kibuga Kariithi.A valued aunt, mentor and friend to many.
Family and friends are meeting for prayers at her home in Karunguru Estate on Kenyatta Road from 3:00pm. The funeral service and burial will take place on Thursday, the 12th of August, 2021, in Kiburi Farm, Kimunye Village, Kirinyaga County from 11:00am.
