It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we inform you of the promotion to glory of Cecilia Mutei Luka on 1st August 2021.
She was dear wife to Luke G. M. Nzangi and loving mother to Raphael Nzangi, Romeo Nyalo and Noella Kalimi. Mother in-law to Olive Nyalo and grandmother to Imani Samara Nyalo. She was daughter to the late John Nyalo Kakunyi and the late Damaris Muli and step daughter to Patricia Nyalo. Sister to Angeline Nzuki, Katumbu Katwai, James Vundi,Catherine Kamene, Winfred Kathule, Regina Mbeti, Alexander Musyoka, Damaris Kitondo, Rachael Vundi and Racheal Musyoka.
She was daughter in-law to Josephine Syonzau Ngovi, the late Gabriel Nzangi Kinyungu and the late Telesia Wango, the late Frederick Kavisu Kinyungu and Florence Mumbwa Kavisu, Dominic Ndone Kinyungu and Adelaide Ndone, Dr. James Mbandi and Mary Mukina Mbandi. She was “Sytitawa” to Hon. Robert Kinuthia Muigai and Hilda Wabera.
Sister in –law to the late Bridgit Muema and Solomon Munyithya, Patrick and Esther Ngwili, Sabina Mwikali, Martin and Nzambi Kaawa.
She was cousin to Francis Kavisu, Pauline Syovata, Denis Mwikya, Alex Mwendwa, Felistus Ndumi, the late Boniface Kimanzi, Onesmus Kyalo, Petronila Ndunge, Francis Muema, Frederick Muteti, Scholastica Mueni, Josephine Syonzau, Dr. James Mbandi, and Anthony Mutua among others.
Requiem mass will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church, Donholm on August 11th 2021 at 2pm.
The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home on August 14th 2021 at 7am for burial at her Muthale Home, Kitui County.
