It is with great sorrow and sense of loss that the Agoi family announces the untimely passing on 2nd August 2021 of Major General (Rtd) Amb George Nadida Agoi CBS ‘ndc’ (IND) ‘psc’ (UK) who led the rescue mission after the 1998 bomb blast in Nairobi.
He was the son to the late Paramount Chief Meshack Agoi and the late Dinah Kalegi Agoi. Loving husband to Emily Ayuma Agoi. Father to Ronald Agoi, Eugene Agoi, Caroline Lelleh (UK) and Valentine Agoi.
Brother to Rosemary Some, the late Judith Jahenda, the late Geoffrey Agoi, the late Jackson Anyamba, Wycliffe Abuko, Julia Agoi, Robai Khayesi, Wilfred Alieva, Allan Vulimu, Victoria Kadenge, Janet Ingasia and Sammy Mmalenge.
Grandfather to Emily Zyana George, Amaris Nana Atoo Lelleh, Kaila Nana Atoo Lelleh. Father in law to Frank Nana Atoo Lelleh (UK).
Brother-in-law to Col.(Rtd) Winston Injairo, Frank Otindo, Peter Olonyi, Benson Kote, Timothy Olonyi (Japan), Dr. Evans Sikinyi, Martha Mukabanah and Edwins Mukabanah (KBS, Nairobi).
The burial service will be held on 11th August, 2021, at his farm, Plot No.87 Soy Scheme, Roberts Village, Soy Sub-location, Likuyani Location, Likuyani Sub-county, Kakamega County as from 8.00am.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his Soy Farm for funeral arrangements.
