It is with immeasurable sorrow, indescribably shattered hearts and never ending tears that we regretfully announce the demise of our Legend and Patriarch Allan Simon Njugi Maina.
He was the much loved son of the Late Simon and Martha Njugi and son-in-love of the Late Nahashon Mukaburu and Mary Wangari Mukaburu.
He was a friend, con_dante and husband to Charity Warigia. He was also Daddy to Nyambura & Kinyua, Wambugu & Mumbua, Wangari & Mwangi and Andrew Kaburu (Kabbz). He was a doting Guka to Njoki, Makena, Myra, Amani and Jabu-Njamba.
Daddy adored his only surviving sibling Uncle David Mwangi, and was preceded in death by his older siblings Kahinga, Thogori, Waweru and Muchiri. Allan was a brother-in-law to the Late Mundui, Jane Hungu, Reverend Gladys Wabera, Kirigo, Waruguru and Macharia.
He was also a brother-in-law to Aunty Wanjiku, Aunty Mbaire, Aunty Wambui and Aunty Muthoni.
He was ‘Muthoniwa’ to Hellen and Nyaga Nyamu, the Late Grace Waeni and the Late Thomas Makau and Monica and Stanley Murage.
We covet your prayers and request that you kindly join us on the 25th August, 2021 at 4.00pm at his house I Nairobi in remembering his life, bearing in mind that all Covid advisory protocol shall be observed.
The memorial service shall be held on Thursday 26th August, 2021 at Parklands Baptist Church from 10.30 am. Dad shall be laid to rest in Gakindu, Mukurweini on Friday 27th August, 2021.
