It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our Mother, Mrs Jane Syombua Nzii (Mama Tom) on Friday, August 20, 2021 while undergoing treatment at RFH Healthcare Ruai.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas Mutisya Kasango and Veronica Ndumi Mutisya of Ituusya Village, Kangundo; Beloved wife to Rtd Ssgt Wilson Nzii Songolo of Katulani village, Matuu (formerly of 5KR Gilgil and RTS Eldoret);  daughter in law to the late Songolo and the late Magdalena Kingi of Kithyoko. Loving Mother of Stanislaus Mutisya (Suzan Duty Free); WOII Cosmas Mweu (Laikipia Air Base); Susan Kalekye (USAID); David Muoki; Thomas Muthui (FAO/Somalia); and Dennis Kikwae. Mother-in-law to Rose Ndinda, Teresia Muthoni, Doris Makena and Eunice Wanja. Dotting grandmother to Ben, Vera, Lewis, Elizabeth, Brian, Makena, Jenna, Mona, Lynn, Adia, Mason, Adrian, Genevieve and RubyJane. Amazing great-grandmother to Kyle Mweu
Awesome Sister to Joan Juma (Former KAA/JKIA), the late Rose Nyette (US Embassy), Elizabeth Kakuvi (formerly UNILEVER)  Joseph Starr Kasango (formerly CYMMIT), the late Peter Kasango (The Min of EAC), Stellamaris Napier (Seychelles) and Mary Nzisa (KEFRI).  Sister-in-law to the late Maj WP Juma, Patrick Nyette, Irene Kasango, Scolastica Kasango, Albert Napier, the late Mbii Songolo and Lali Songolo. Cousin to The Kasangos, The Kakenyis, The Kasojas. Darling Auntie and friend to many.

A requiem mass in Nairobi will be on Thursday, September 2nd at 10:00am at The Don Bosco Catholic Church UpperHill.  Burial ceremony will be on Saturday, September 4th at Katulani Village in Matuu, Machakos County.
