It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Lt. Col. (Rtd.) David Njoroge Mwaura which occurred on 19th August, 2021, after a short illness.
Son of the late Kenneth Mwaura Kimani and the late Hellen Wanjiru of Giathieko Village, Githunguri Sub-County, Kiambu County. Beloved husband to Eunice Wanjiku and Alice Nyambura. Loving father to Naomi Wambui, Kenneth Mwaura, Helen Wanjiru, Macdaniels Mwaura and Lewis David Waiganjo.
His siblings were Margaret Wanjiku, the late George Kimani, the late Jemimah Njeri, Dr. Esther Wambui, the late Eunice Njambi, Erastus Gicheru, Elizabeth Njoki, Lucy Njoki, Solomon Chuchu, Lydia Wanjunu, and Joyce Wairimu. Father-in-law to Judith Micere and Juma Ali. He was Uncle and cousin to many and he was grandfather to Almasi, Jabali, Shani and Kareem.
The cortège leaves Kenyatta University Teaching & Referral Hospital Funeral Home (along Northern Bypass) on Thursday, 26th August at 8.00am for the Funeral Service at Kanjai Primary School grounds at 11:00am.
Thereafter the burial will take place at his home in Giathieko. Covid19 protocols will be adhered with and the ceremony will be live online.
We will miss you. Rest in peace till we meet again.
