We sadly announce the passing on of Mama Alice Karuru Rithara of Isiolo -Kambi ya Juu on 31st August 2021
Daughter of both the late Josphat Rithara and Harriet Mwendwa. Sister of the late Samson Koome, the late Eunice Mbogori and the late Marlion Rithara. Sister-in-law of the late Lawrence Mbogori and Consolata Gitukia.
Mother of Danson and Esther Kiriinya, Gloria Gakii and Dr. Joshua Kimani, Ken and Everlyne Kadogo, Stella Mwari Rithara, Beatrice Kairuthi and Karani, Carol Mbogori, Irene Kagwiria, Norah Mbogori and Mike Mwiti. She was an auntie of many.
Grandmother of Gatwiri, Brenda, Collins, Sheila, Dr. Muthoni, Ted, Alvin, Mutwiri, Risper, Michelle, Pearl, Ritchie, Jessica & Kinya. She was also a beloved great-grandmother of many.
Family and Friends are meeting at Dr. Kimani’s home in Runda, Stella’s home at Grace Lane estate in Nkoroi and at Meru/Isiolo home daily from 5.30 Pm.
Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be held at St. Peter’s Methodist Church, Langata on Monday 6th September 2021 at 2pm.
Final Burial Rites will be on Tuesday 7th September 2021 at her home in Isiolo - Kambi ya Juu in line with all Covid Protocols.
