It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance that we announce the death of Mrs Alice Wangari Rukwaro which occurred on 05 September 2021 at her home in Kiserian.
Beloved wife to the late George Kabaiku Rukwaro “Sir George”, Dean School of Law University of Nairobi 1991-92.
Daughter to the late Edward Njuguna Kaguthi and the late Gladys Njeri Kaguthi.
Mother to Raphael Joel Rukwaro, Dr Edward Njuguna, Emilius Nderitu, and the Late Cornelius Kangethe.
Sister to Patrick Kangethe Njuguna “Ndonga”, the late Veronicah Thigwe Edwards, the late Margaret Nyambura Gachuma, the late Immaculate Wanjiru Muigai and the late Scholastica Waithera Karanja. Cousin, Aunt, Grandmother, Godmother and very good friend to many.
Friends and relatives are meeting at her home in Kiserian for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege shall leave Umash Funeral home along Mbagathi Way on 15 September 2021 at 9:00am. Burial ceremony will be held at Langata cemetery Nairobi.
