It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the Teachers Service Commission announces the death of Catherine Wanjiku on 24th August 2021.
She was the wife of Fredrick Onyonka Onsongo of Kisii County. She was daughter of Charles K. Mburu and Teresia Njeri Wanjagi of Kiamworia Village, Kiganjo Location, Kiambu County. Mother of Felix Ombati, Hedwig Njeri and Ameria Tiffany. She was a sister of Kizito Wanjagi and Penina Njeri of Kenya Prisons. Daughter-in-law of the late Christopher Onsongo and Rosalia Mogoi of Kisii County. She was a cousin to Clement Kabuti among others.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Mihang’o, Embakasi, Nairobi County daily from 3.00 p.m. for prayers and burial arrangements. There will be a requiem mass on Wednesday 1st September 2021 at 7.00 p.m at her Mihang’o residence.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Thursday 2nd September 2021. The burial and funeral service will be on 3rd September 2021 at her home in Bonyagatanyire, Magina Village, Kisii County.
