  FIRST ANNIVERSARY

Softly in the morning, exactly one year ago, you heard a gentle call, you took the hand God offered you and quietly left us. We remember you for  all things rich and true, for the valiant man you were and the good you did. Dearly missed by your loving wife, Roselyne Kwang’a and your children Velma, Barbara, George and Daisy.

We the family of the Late Julius Kwang’a  Adero wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all who stood by and with us during our difficult moment of passing to glory of our dear Baba.

Our immense gratitude goes to Senior Pastor Anataka Mugenyi, Deputy Pastor Bonface Opondo, Mr & Mrs. K’okumu, the entire pastoral and leadership team and congregation of CITAM Kisumu. We are grateful for the prayers, visits and spiritual nourishment in our time of grief and the excellent efforts made by the church in giving our dear father a befitting farewell.

THANK YOU to the Department  of Correctional Services particularly the Commissioner General- Prison Services, Wycliffe O. Ogallo (CBS), The Kenya Prison Officers Retirees Forum, former colleagues at the Prison Services, The  Law Society of Kenya and Kenya Broadcasting Corporation for your overwhelming support and kindness in our bereavement.

We also wish to thank family and friends who paid tribute or attended the funeral service, and to the many who due to COVID-19 restrictions could not join us but sent their condolences. We are not able to thank each one of you individually but we humbly request that you accept this message of sincere gratitude and appreciation. May the Lord remember each of you and answer you speedily in your time of need. May you be blessed abundantly and may you be refreshed as you refreshed us.

A memorial service of our loving Baba will be held on Saturday, 9th October, 2021 at our home in Alego. All COVID-19 protocols to be observed.

Then I heard a voice from heaven say, ‘’write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’’  ‘

’Yes,’’ says the Spirit, ’’They will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.’’
