It is with humble acceptance of God’s Will that we announce the demise of Engineer Peter Waweru Githaiga, formerly of Kenya Airways, that occurred on the morning of 6th March 2018.
Son of the late Phillip and the late Elizabeth Weru. Beloved husband of Rose Githaiga. Devoted and ever-present father of Wangui, Weru, Nyawira, Wangari & Aaron, and Njuguini. Grandfather of Hannah & Nicola. Loving Brother of Joseph Mwangi & the late Ann Wanjugu, the late Francis Kiongo & Phoebe Wambui, Paul & Lucy Kangori, John & Anastasia Mbugua. Much loved uncle, cousin, colleague and friend to many.
Prayers and meetings are ongoing at the Githaiga residence in Nyari Estate. The requiem mass will be held at Consolata Shrine, Westlands on Wednesday 14th March 2018 at 2 pm.
The burial will take place on Thursday 15th March 2018 at his home in Kimondo Village Kirerema Sub Location, Githi Location in Mukurweini Sub County. Family and friends will meet at Kenyatta University Mortuary on 15th March at 7 am. The funeral service at homestead will start at 11 am.
