It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the family of the late Mzee Michael Nasonga Odero Oyeyo announces the death of Mama Flora Masakhwe Odero Oyeyo of Randago village, Bukhalalire sub-location, Marachi Central Ward, Butula sub-county, Busia County after a brave battle with cancer.
Flora was the daughter of the late Augustino Ouma Matsotso and the late Salome Lukoba of Bumutiru village, Butula sub-County, Busia County. Sister of the late Samuel Adika, late Raphael Onyango, Late Alfred Obuba, Demtila Apondi and Margaret Obango.
She was wife of the late Mzee Michael Nasonga Odero Oyeyo. Mother of CPA Eliud Charles Oyeyo (USA), Dr. George Anthony Ombakho (Min. of Education, Science and Technology), Redempta Madiro Oyeyo (Min. of Industry and Enterprise Development), CPA Mary Ingunyi Odongo (The National Treasury - PFMR), Hillary Wafubwa Oyeyo (Mumias Sugar Company), Hellen Sirima Oyeyo (Public Service Commission), Ignatius Augustine Matsotso (Kenya Revenue Authority) and Vivian Salome Lukoba (Kenya Revenue Authority). Mother in-law of Dr. Mahacla Odongo (University of Nairobi), Valentine Makari (USA), Mary Wakini Wanyonyi (KALRO - Kitale), Annette Ondiri (Mumias), Phyllis Wanjiru (Mombasa), and Raymond Mukele (Betting Control Board). Sister in-law of the late Wilfrida Aori, Turdeya Ocholi, Christopher Odongo, Sarah Olwali, Longinus Oyeyo, Romanus Oyeyo, late Peter Otsieno Oyeyo, Clementina Mayende, among others.

The body is lying at Montezuma mortuary, Nairobi. The main fundraising is scheduled for Monday, 12th March 2018 at the United Kenya Club, Nairobi, starting at 6.00 p.m. to meet hospital bills and other funeral expenses.
There will be a requiem mass at Shrine of Mary Help of Christians, Don Bosco Catholic Church Upper Hill on Wednesday 14th March 2018 at 2 pm the body leaves Nairobi for home on Thursday 15h March. 2018 at 9:30 am. Burial will be on 17th March, 2018 at Randago village, Bukhalalire sub location, Butula sub-county, Busia county.
