It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of David Wahome Matheri which occurred on 6th March 2018.
Son of the late Anna Gathoni and the late Harrison Matheri. Brother of Alice Njeri Kahiga. Husband of Susan Hiuko and the late Mary Ruguru. Father of Anna Gathoni (Senior), Isabel Wairimu, Harrison Matheri, Joseph Weru, Mary Wanjiku, Alice Njeri and Anna Gathoni (Junior). Father-in-law of Gladys Wangui and Faith Wairimu. Grandfather of Wahome, Matheri, Hiuko, Nyaruai, Wahome, Wahome, Kamau and Wahome. Uncle and brother-in-law of many.
The cortege leaves Nanyuki Training and Referral Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 10th March, 2018 at 10am followed by a requiem mass to celebrate Wahome’s life at St Mark’s Mwireri Catholic Church at 11am and thereafter burial at his farm in Mwireri, Umande Ward, Laikipia County.
