It’s with great humility and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Evasio Mwenda Mwirebua of Ndumbini Village, Mitheru Location, Tharaka Nithi County on 8th March 2018.
Son of the late Mathew Mwirebua and the late Rondovika Mugere. Son-in-law of the Late M’thika Ituma and the late Rebina Mukwamugo. Evasio will be lovingly remembered by his wife Josephine Maitha. Father of Agustina Mutegi (Kiereni Chuka), Erenesta Konge (Kangaaru Embu), Joan Karani (Kiongondu Chuka), Patrick M. Mwenda (Pwani Oil Products Ltd), Benedicta Gitonga (Meru Town), Fedrick N Mwenda (EABL), Eudita Kirimi (Public Health-Nbi), Anita Kimathi (Karigini-Muthambi) and Denis Muriithi (Ministry of Health-Machakos). Father-in-law of Fredrick Mutegi (Kiereini Chuka), Eustace Konge (Kangaaru Embu), Anord Karani (Kiangondu Chuka), Dr. Evayline Miriti (Pwani University), Gitonga Aritho (Meru Town), Jane Ntwiga (Kiambuthi-Embu), Corinto Kirimi (Kenya Police - Nbi), Silas Kimathi (Karigini-Muthambi) and Sally Muriithi (Ndumbini-Tharaka Nithi). He leaves behind 30 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
The cortege leaves Nairobi West Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 15th March 2018 for funeral service at Ndumbini Catholic Church at 12.00 noon followed thereafter by burial at his farm at Iriani Village- Ndumbini from 2.00pm.
